About Me

Tara Crowley is a fully qualified Image Consultant with many years experience in the industry.

Following a successful 15 year career in the Banking and Finance industry, Tara trained as an Image Consultant. Since the creation of Optimise Your Wardrobe, Tara has helped many women manage their appearance and maximise their potential. A highly skilled and experienced professional, Tara works with individual clients on a personal level in their own home, holds group workshops and also gives presentations to small and large groups. Tara is constantly updating her skill base through the IICI’s Continuous Professional Development Program, and also through her media work and style clinics.

Colour Consultation

It is a diagnostic process used to determine the most harmonious palette of colours for your natural colouring, i.e. skin, hair and eyes. The session involves draping an ordered coloured spectrum of fabrics near the face, observing the effect on the face. We then create your personal palette of colours, the colours that help smooth and clarify the complexion, soften any lines, minimise shadows and give an overall healthy glow.

Style Consultation

Just as your natural colouring determines your clothing colour choice, your face shape, body shape, scale and proportions determine your best garment line. My role is to help you see yourself as you truly are, to show you how to value and concentrate on your positive aspects and to disguise your problem areas. With the clever use of line and design, we can create illusions.

Wardrobe Consultation

You will learn how to build a flexible, cost-effective wardrobe that works for you. The next time you open your wardrobe, gone will be the cries of “I’ve nothing to wear!” Tara will also leave you with a tailored shopping list to complete your new capsule wardrobe to ensure that costly mistakes are avoided in the future.

Personal Shopping

Having difficulty finding what you want? Would like to be introduced to new brands or shops? Are you too busy to shop? Or do you just hate shopping? If so, Tara can either shop for you or with you, whichever suits.

Presentations

Tara gives talks and presentations to many different groups and can tailor a presentation to suit your group’s requirements - be it a golf club, society, women’s group or corporate event. So if you want to educate, inform, raise awareness, improve understanding on an image related topic, raise funds or simply entertain your audience, contact Tara to discuss your requirements further….

Group Nights

Gather together a group of 6 women (max.) in your own home. During the evening (or day if that better suits your group), Tara will give each woman an individual Colour and Style Consultation, and then give the group a talk with lots of grooming, styling, wardrobe and shopping tips. Great fun with your family and friends!
